The Latakia Flake No. 40 is characterized by its main ingredient, the smoky Latakia, which is however permeated by an unmistakable fruity aroma reminiscent of plums. This line impresses with an increased tobacco density of 40 percent Latakia. When lit, the smoky character initially predominates, while the natural sweetness of Virginia becomes noticeable in the background, followed by woody nuances. The flavor of the Virginia comes through clearly, but the smoky and woody Latakia takes center stage. Turkish Latakia differs significantly from Cypriot or Syrian Latakia. This mixture presents itself with medium firmness and impressive density.
