Year after year, Habanos S.A. puts on a “Reserva” or a “Gran Reserva”.
This year we are witnessing the launch of the ROMEO Y JULIETA Short Churchills Reserva.
ROMEO Y JULIETA is one of the most famous and popular Habanos brands in the world. One of her most prized vitolas is the short churchill. She appeared in 2006 and within a few years earned the reputation of a “must have” habano that belongs in the humidor of every Habanos lover. This modern classic is now available in this special edition of only 5,000 highly glossy black-painted boxes. They hold 3 pieces of this classic Robusto format with 124 mm length and a ring size of 50. Each box is provided with a gold plaque that bears the individual number of the box. All tobaccos used – the silky shimmering cover sheet, the envelope and the insert – are from the harvest of 2019. Therefore, this reserve bears the addition “Cosecha 2019” in the name. It goes without saying that only the best tobaccos of top plantations of the Vuelta Abajo have been selected for their mix. Already on the plantations, a strict selection process began. Whether in the drying, the first and second fermentation, the sorting and classification, the ripening storage and ultimately the rolling in the manufactory: the Vegueros and Tabaqueros always selected only the best tobacco leaves. And only the best torcedores of the highest, the ninth category, then produce these limited cigars with skillful hands.
