The beautiful, silky, shade-grown Connecticut wrapper, grown in the Connecticut Valley around Hartford, is a real eye-catcher - even bigger than the extraordinarily white leather and bronze case, which is more like a jewelry box. The binder from Nicaragua covers leaves from Honduras, Nicaragua and a secret provenance that Rocky does not want to reveal. All tobaccos have had ten years to mature to perfection. Immediately after lighting, the palate is delighted with a combination of earthy and nutty flavors. These are quickly complemented by light roasted aromas and a restrained but perfectly integrated sweetness. The whole course of smoking is characterized by an intense creaminess. The "White Label" is stronger than the silky wrapper suggests. The Connecticut with easy attitude, however, remains at home in medium-strength climes.
