In Italy, the traditional TOSCANO® Antico is the preferred cigar of experienced cigar smokers and lovers of the typical taste of the TOSCANO® cigar. The TOSCANO® Antico was developed in 1973, more than 150 years after the famous "summer rain", to which the TOSCANO® cigars owe their discovery. The cigar is characterized by its strong and intense character. Its aroma is noticeably bitter with woody and peppery notes.

Only the best leaves from North American tobacco are selected for the binder, which have been smoked over intensely fragrant wood for more than 30 days. This processing step guarantees the right connection with the filler and creates the pleasant taste of the fire-treated tobacco. The 12-month maturation gives the cigar its impressive aroma.
