Romeo y Julieta Cupidos is a cigar format developed by Habanos S.A. offered exclusively for the shops of La Casas del Habano and Habanos Specialists. A completely new figurado format with a large ring gauge of 55 was developed for this cigar. The production name (Vitola de Galera) of the 148 mm long Habano is “Veronas”, a nod to the famous tragedy by William Shakespeare that gave the brand its name. This also applies to the name of the format: "Cupidos" is the Spanish word for the god of love in Roman mythology.
Special features of Romeo y Julieta Cupidos are the full aroma, the balance and the complexity of the nuances that are characteristic of the Romeo y Julieta brand. The large-volume figurado format intensifies the taste and aromas as the smoke progresses, which promises a particularly intense and fulfilling pleasure experience.
The Romeo y Julieta Cupidos are carefully handcrafted by experienced Cuban cigar rollers who use the traditional method "totalmente a mano con Tripa Larga" - as "completely hand-rolled long fillers".
The Romeo y Julieta Cupidos blend consists of carefully selected wrapper, filler and binder tobaccos sourced from the famous Vuelta Abajo plantations in the Pinar del Rio region, Cuba. These tobacco soils are known worldwide for their first-class tobaccos, which are among the best in the world and offer an incomparable taste.
