The Erta Ale volcano in Ethiopia serves as the namesake for our new White Elephant series. In its center is an active lava lake, the area around the half-wake giant is gray and rocky and thus resembles a moonscape. Now let's get to the essentials. The Erta Ale models are large and yet compact. The head is made of South American ash, which provides a deep and impressive structure after intense sand radiation. We had the wood stained ash grey this time. We have matched the mouthpiece to this. The hot acrylic mixture is only slightly stirred. In it we have let in a real zebra noring, which emphasizes the wild natural look. In the head there is a use of graphite, which is obtained from pressed carbon. This was produced according to our requirements in Germany. It is fireproof, tasteless, never gets hot and can be cleaned effortlessly. The construction of a coal layer is eliminated.
