On the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the brand in 2024, the new Quai D ́Orsay format was presented, which Habanos S.A. now brings to the trade in limited quantities: the Quai d’Orsay Especial d’Orsay.
The production name of these particular cigars is “Sobresalientes” and it is only published on rare occasions. The Parejo format has a length of 153 mm and a ring of 53. Like all Quai d'Orsay cigars, it impresses with elegant lightness and French sophistication. Cigar lovers can expect subtle notes of cedar wood and vanilla, creamy undertones and a subtle sweetness – harmoniously balanced. Especially for lovers of elegant, light cigars, the Especial d'Orsay is an ideal choice. The Quai d’Orsay Especial d’Orsay has a second ring with the name of the brand at the foot of the cigar.
The elaborately crafted boxes are designed in the brand's colours - a warm gold tone and a striking orange. In the inner lid of the box is a drawing of the famous Quai d’Orsay on the banks of the Seine in Paris. The boxes contain 20 pieces of the Quai d’Orsay Especial d’Orsay.
Like all formats of the brand, it is rolled as a longfiller according to the production method – totalmente a mano – which has been common in Cuba for centuries. The tobaccos used all come from the world-famous Vuelta Abajo region in western Cuba.
