Don Francisco Fonseca founded his brand  between 1890 and 1900.
He is described as handsome man who put a lot of emphasis on the appearance and transferred this elegant accuracy on his cigars He wrapped them in tissue paper - a tradition that is continued until today in the four formats that bear his name.

The light blend of Fonseca from tobaccos from the Vuelta Abajo region makes it the ideal cigar after a light meal.
