The MEERAPFEL »Meir« are a homageand family patriarch Meir Meerapfel, who founded the original family factory in Untergrombach in the Baden region in 1876. Even today, the grave of this family, now native to Belgium, can be found in the municipal cemetery in Untergrombach. The “Meir” are produced in limited quantities, by no means 613 boxes per format per year.
